• Supported City Prosperity Initiative (CPI) in developing and testing methodologies that can be globally applied for monitoring of the CPI spatial indicators.

• Conceptualized and designed globally applicable, accurate and easy to adopt methodologies for collecting and reporting on CPI spatial indicators based on collation of existing methodologies, filling existing gaps and proposing new approaches

• Developed guidelines and information sheets for countries articulating key elements of CPI spatial indicators, the relevance of their measurement and alternatives to undertaking such measurement.

• Supported the Future Saudi Cities Programme (FSCP) by performing the following tasks:

1. Engaging in the mapping of public spaces in 17 cities of interest in the FSCP as well as Spatial assessment reports that will be integrated in City Profiles.

2. Conducting quality analysis of satellite data with a view on their usefulness in the context of public space mapping and other spatial analysis using GIS data for the 17 cities.

3. Organizing a common database of GIS data for the 17 cities in the FSCP project.

4. Coordinating  GIS data support, reviews and developed appropriate strategies for ground truthing and validation of the results in the 17 cities.

5. Providing detailed maps, data and analysis for the City Prosperity Initiative portfolio which will cover, the Street Connectivity (SCI), Accessibility to open public spaces, Land use mix and, total green area.
